The Central Okanagan Association for Cardiac Health is dedicated to the provision of evidence-based practice, prevention, management and rehabilitation of heart disease. We promote healthy behaviour change by supporting and educating individuals and families in achieving healthy lifestyles to be their cardiovascular risk factor manager.

ATTENTION:  We are pleased to announce that as Monday, June 29th, 2020 C.O.A.C.H. will be opening the doors to deliver an adapted selection of Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) services.  To help protect our people, patients, and community we are taking precautions laid out by Interior Health consultants, C.O.A.C.H. medical officers and the COVID-19 guidelines from the BC Centre for Disease Control. Our safety plan involves the following:

  • All participants will be screened for COVID-19 before entering building
  • High risk or immune compromised individuals will not be recommended to attend at this time
  • Individual health history and program options will be reviewed and appropriate program options presented
  • All staff will be wearing PPE
  • Participants are not required to wear face masks but recommended to
  • Equipment, surfaces will be cleaned frequently and between uses
  • Participants will be spaced apart greater than 2 metres
  • Opportunity for frequent hand hygiene with sanitizer, soap & water will be provided
